HoursMon-Thu 08:00-17:00, Fri 08:00-13:00 (39hrs per week)
Salary£10 p/hr


Responsible for the control and organization of stores of consumables, raw materials, assemblies and finished goods

Main Duties

  • Receiving Goods-Inwards, ensuring that items comply to the requirements of the purchase order, are in good condition and come with the correct paperwork.
  • Kitting component parts / materials against WO order requirements.
  • Preparing & packaging items for shipment to partner businesses for sub-contract operations.
  • Managing inventory post-production, ensuring parts are correctly stored to ensure quality requirements are maintained.
  • Ensure that all materials are clearly identified, stored and sorted correctly to maintain quality and integrity.
  • Preparing and Packaging finished goods (including creation of delivery notes) for shipment to customers.
  • Manage bookings with various 3rd party couriers to ensure goods are sent on-time, safely, and in accordance with supplier and customer requirements.
  • Manage supply of packaging materials, ensuring adequate stock levels are always maintained.
  • Carry out required transactions in our Production Control System to ensure full traceability requirements of our AS9100 approved Quality System are maintained.
  • Support monthly and end of year stock takes.

Other Responsibilities

  • To engage with the positive H&S culture within Technoturn and support the continued promotion of a safe working environment.
  • Provide support to other team members and departments during busy times to meet the needs of the business.
  • Track shipments as required and liaise with 3rd party couriers to provide shipment information to customers.
  • Promote and demonstrate best practice in all aspects of the role.
  • To support the forward thinking and continuous improvement culture throughout the business

Key Skills, Knowledge and Personal Attributes

  • Have relevant and recent experience of working in a busy stores environment.
  • Good IT skills including email, excel and database systems.
  • Strong attention to detail with a positive mindset to be the best at what you do.
  • Ability to prioritize personal workload to ensure efficiency in completing tasks.
  • Good communication skills and a team player.
  • Good workspace organization and tidiness.
  • A can-do attitude and a willingness to learn.
