Part of our extensive equipment list includes two Miyano ABX 64s, a top-of-the-range twin spindle, twin turret automatic lathe with two Y-axes for unrivalled versatility and productivity in complex machining.
The ABX 64’s unique design enables completely simultaneous front and back machining of products using the upper and lower turrets on both the main and sub spindles. Each turret also features Y-axis functionality, providing 5-axis control for contouring capability. This allows us to machine complex shapes that would be impossible on standard turning centers in a fraction of the time. Having two of these machines enables us to offer exceptional precision and lead times on complex parts.
To handle heavy cutting loads during milling, the ABX 64s are equipped with rigid 40Nm revolving tool drives on both turrets. This high torque combined with the machine’s thermally symmetrical design ensures impressive stability even when machining hard materials or difficult geometries. Technoset delivers outstanding precision in all its machined parts.
The ABX64 constantly monitors thermal changes using sensors and automatically compensates axis alignment to maintain precision. This enables continuous unmanned operation without any loss of accuracy from thermal growth.
