Operations Director, Technoturn, Hastings
My role is to ensure the needs of our customers, employees and stakeholders are met whilst supporting development and growth throughout the business. I ensure that we continuously provide the right environment, training and tools to allow our highly talented team to achieve the highest standards in everything we do.
Having been very interested in ‘mechanics’ from an early age, I completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering and began my career as a machinist in a small machine shop, specialising in low-volume, high-precision parts for the scientific industry. During my career, I’ve worked in both subcontract and OEM sectors, supporting a wide variety of industries including scientific, defence, medical, aerospace, and many more, in a variety of operational and managerial job roles.
It’s great to be part of a passionate team of people who consistently strive to be the best. Subcontract manufacturing presents new challenges every day, but by working together it can bring huge satisfaction.
When I’m not working I enjoy watching 2- and 4-wheel motorsports, travelling, cycling, and listening to music.
“I’m here to ensure that the team have the right environment, training and tools be the best at what they do, ensuring we continuously meet customer expectations, and to help build a stronger, more capable company for tomorrow’s challenges.“
